Dear Family and Friends,
God is good! And He desires to see His goodness, through His son Jesus, spread to every corner of the earth. Filled with a huge passion to see this happen, we are planning on a mission trip to Mozambique, Africa. We will be going there to join friends of ours (Rick and Heather Neufeld) in their mission work with SAM Ministries. SAM is a Canadian registered Christian mission, committed to serving people so they have a chance to experience the power of God’s love. In Mozambique, their focus is to love the people so they can be empowered spiritually, physically, and economically to help reach and teach their own people.
Mike and I will be helping our friends, in the day to day tasks at the mission. Mike's primary focus will be pastor & leadership training and I will be helping with what ever is needed, including orphan ministry and gardening! We also plan to be involved with preaching, children's ministry, women's ministry, and working at the local school. Beyond those specific jobs, we simply want to go and serve both the people of Mozambique and the missionaries that are currently working there.
